I just went into my backyard to relax in the cool moonless night as Mach says there will be quite a show in the heaven this evening... Something to my left hissed at me.... I ignored it... 2nd hiss and I am thinking snakeish... I back off close the backdoor and shut on a outdoor light... and a skunk crooses my patio..

I saw the little brat last night and was stunned... now it appears the rat is stuck in my yard...


HELP! I have guests arriving in 14 days.... he needs to GO!

I am praying he was hissing at me and not spraying... i would think if he were it would have carried up here by now through the upper windows....

I don't think skunks leave much doubt as to whether they're spraying, when they spray.

So, you don't sound jinxed at all. Quite the opposite, actually.

it doesn't take much for them to put their back end up and you would know instantly!! that you had been hit. you and the neighborhood. and every item in your yard.

even in a few months after it rains you would still be able to smell it!


i could tell you what you could try but it's ends in the animal's demise... and you still might have a little smell. can he not be lured out of a gate somewhere with food?? how did he get in there??

Its part of nature! Skunks are kinda cute. Just don't screw with it!

Yes, I can lure him through the gate by leaving it open BUT it leads to the street....
