I remember hearing about her murder and about the "Poltergeist Curse" (the little blond girl who played her sister also died shortly after filming the last of the sequels). For some reason it made an impression.

A couple of years ago she came up again. I was reading Joan Didion's tragic memoir, The Year of Magical Thinking, about the death of her husband and her daughter (all within one year) and Dominique's death was mentioned. Joan's husband John Dunne is Dominic Dunne's brother and Dominique's uncle.

She was quite beautiful.

well since i was only few months old i can't say i remember it.
but when i watch a good movie i like to read biographies of feauturing actors from the movie.
so i read about her,and she is realy a tragic heroine.
who knows what she could have achived if that maniac john sweeney a.k.a. john maura didn't kill her.

As I recall, Dominique was supposed to play the character of Robin in the mini-series "V." The night she was murdered, she was rehearsing with actor David Packer, who played Daniel in the series. I remember hearing the 911 tape of him calling the cops when her boyfriend showed up and started harrassing her. Its really eerie.
