I've wanted to try Ostrich and Buffallo but I haven't had the chance to. I've eaten Ostrich and crocodile in South Africa and Shark in Trinidad. Ostrich and Shark were both really good, crocodile not so I'm curious about shark and crock. Funny story. My best friend and a girlfriend were in San Francisco. She insisted that she wanted shark fin soup. They went and got some. She was really dissapointed because it kind of looked like egg foo yung. My best friend said "Damn Carmen. What did you expect. The shark fin swimming around in the bowl!!" hahahahahahahha!!!! MyeternalgrattitudetoPhil&Val.Herman said "We want sweaty truckers at the truck stop! We were in New York City with my teenage daughter, and eating at Shun Lee Palace. She odered shark fin soup. It had to be $40.00 for the bowl. It was an hors d'ouvre. We limit traveling with her. (She had it before, somewhere cheaper)
That's also the place where, if you order a whole duck, they'll carve it up near your table, and de-bone the whole thing. I love NY! Carnegie deli with the perfect pickles at every table.....Green Street Cafe, (closed).... The French appetizer term is probably mispelled, but I'm too lazy to look it up. [Edited 8/11/07 5:48am]

I'm watching MY first episode of Bizarre Foods on the Travvel Channel. Although I respect everyone on the show I CANNOT DEAL WITH THE THINGS THAT THEY EAT. This particular episode focuses on Mexican bizarre foods. My ancestors actually ate all this. Cricket tostadas, worms, armadillo. Ant eggs and mosquito eggs. I don't think I could do it and you all know I looooove food. What is the strangest thing that you have eaten? Salma Hayek ate crickets on the Ellen Show not too long ago Rhythm floods my heart♥The melody it feeds my soul

Wasn't really memorable except the toughness, more like a tough fish than chicken maybe? I had it at a crocodile farm in South Africa, it was a skewer of crocodile and ostrich. I had eaten ostrich before and knew it was tasty, I guess I should have just sticked with that one. The crocodile was so tough, I could hardly bite it and I don't really remember the taste of it. Anyway, it was quite bizarre to eat crocodile at the restaurant of a crocodile farm after having joined that tour there where the guide was telling us how important it is to protect the crocodiles. BLOOD sausage, in Switzerland.....can't get it where I live, although I did see it in Wisconsin when I fished. The community had a fair German population, so the local butcher made it.

I´ve eaten some ostrich, tripe soup, grasshoppers, brain salad and other stuff that some people may or may not find strange.
There´s a book called "Strange Food" which has some of the most interesting edible stuff in it. I usually eat totally normal stuff though...lots of veggies, fruits, some cheese and plenty of yoghurt, a little bit of fish, almost zero poultry and meat, and lots of free range eggs....and protein shakes. If I could, I would switch back to being vegetarian again. " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious!
