Good thing I don't have car keys too these days. My pocket might break.

At the same time I love keys. They're so....real somehow, and they literally open doors, so what's not to love?

1 key hidden @ house for door WHEN we lock up our house which is close to never

1 key for our fire safe

on my keyring:
1 for my apartment door (private entrance)
1 for the back door of the building I live in
1 for my car
1 for the lock on my work laptop that locks it into it's docking station when I'm not at my desk

I also have 2 for my desk drawers and bins at work but I never lock them and they are stuck into the lock so I don't lose them. lol.

1 for the volvo
1 for the TT
1 for the chrysler
1 for the house
1 for the garage

and there always seems to be a rental or loaner car

on my key ring I have 2 a house key and a honda key, on my other key ring, I have one for the jeep, and one for the Harley, and on another ring, one to my mom' house...and a key to my hubby's heart!!!

In fact, at work, my life can be consumed by keys!!!

You should start trying your mystery keys on all kinds of locks. Gives you an excuse to snoop around pretty much anywhere, because who knows, maybe it might fit? Besides, carrying around a whole bunch of keys makes you look like you're authorized to be there, and nobody will dare to question you anyway.
