I love hard rubbish day!

woot!

today I got this couch:

FOR FREE
from the nature strip party party party
It was exactly what I wanted for my studio for my reading corner.

(this nearly beats my $599 Emmaljunga pram that I got for $5.99 because the decimal point was in the wrong place)

What was your best free found thing?

What's the nature strip? Nice sofa. I don't know if I've ever gotten anything that good for free.

the nature strip - a popular place to put a couch!

The nature strip is a stretch of lawn, or "nature" between the footpath and the road.

I call the sidewalk a sidewalk.

But the part where the grass and trees grow is called the easement.

its usually owned by the city , but maintained by the owner whose property it is in front of.

The city will come and plant trees for free usually, if you buy the tree from thier list of acceptable tree.
