which would be better? 
I have booked a hotel room for tomorrow night for my husband's birthday surprise. I've got babysitting for the kids, organised band practice/meetings, his work shifts etc all to nicely NOT coincide with this 24 hour period. I've packed the bag to hide in his car tonight. I've put the spare key for the in-laws in max's overnight bag. 2 weeks worth of planning 
My husband finishes work at 1pm, check-in at the hotel is 2pm. Should I show up at work and surprise him (whispering in his ear that I have no knickers on) or text him a rendezvous message like "meet me in room 208 at (the address of the hotel) everything is taken care of. xxx C" which would be more exciting?  | |

I would say the whispering, unless you can fed ex him the room key and a note saying you are in the room naked waiting 
Having said that he will end up with a speeding ticking and a hard on while driving | |

I'd be down for showing up at the job in a nice outfit, whispering the no knickers message, and leading me out by the hand..... 
since I'm no  , I'd be a little suspicious about the meet me in room #xxx
