There's some great Mexican resturantsin Tucson that make the salsa tableside, so you can taste it with chips and have more chili added....delicious. Another place, the woman makes tortillas at a counter so they're hot and fresh.
I'm thinking of a great big chicken chimichanga for supper tonight, with refried beans, mexican rice.....and a top shelf margarita, up...I'll be thinking of you.

ok so now my question is... when you are home what is expected of you?
like, do you get a couple weeks to yourself and then you have to report back for duty? or do you have a bunch of leave coming to you?

Renegade90, I pray for your safe return from the Middle East. I was there as a Marine in 2003 and 2004 so I know the feeling of knowing that the end is near but yet so far away. Just keep focus on what you are doing and before you know it, you'll be home in no time. Keep your head up.

We have to do some reintegration training....after the 1st set of deployments when all this started, guys were going home so messed up that 5 of them killed their spouses...two committed suicide after they killed their wives...so we go thru classes to learn how to deal with returning to a world that changed while we were gone....lasts about 10 days or so....after that, I'm taking a month off, then back to work after the new year.....and back into the meat grinder....with a possible return here in November.....
