I actually do tend not to go for acquiring 'stuff' anyway and will never purchase a house or condo here, unless maybe to let (so I can make loads of money and buy shit! ). I'm a bit of a non-existent human at the moment though, or at least in limbo. Officially I still live in the UK. My bank accounts are there, my mail goes there, the jury duty requests keep getting sent there, and I'm still a resident of the UK in nearly all cases. Here I'm not a tourist, but I'm not on the house registration, but am married to a Thai and recorded as such at the district office, though down as living in the UK. It's now the marriage and Mon's Thai bank account that let me stay here for longer periods as more than a tourist, but what exactly am I? It's weird.
