My car is busted so I'm busing it and I am up and out of the house at 6:15 a.m. and it takes me about 3 hours of traveling to get to work. Repeat and rinse on the way home. I am spending 6 to 8 hours on the bus with my commute, not to mention working a full 8 hour day. It aint about being lazy and complacent, I'm exhausted! It's all good. I think that perhaps you should get a job that is less of a commute. Maybe then you might have been in a better mood and less stressed! It's like all you do is commute and work. I also think a little empathy goes a long way. We certainly don't know his situation before you got on the bus. Nor does he know yours. But you were both in pissy moods and that's where the clash happened. Well I don't ask him to sit in on meetings I don't want to be in! He has his job and I have mine. Do it jerkface. Oh, once I get my car running again the commute is less drastic 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

OMG, this thread reminds me of something that happened to me on the bus:
I was riding the bus home once, and I had a newspaper that I was reading. The bus driver had a paper bag taped onto the dashboard of the bus. Since I was finished reading the paper, and was getting off the bus anyway, I figured it would be okay to throw the paper in the paper bag. Well, that was a big mistake! The bus driver flipped out, and started hollering at me. He was being a real asshole, and the whole bus was looking at me. I started hollering back at him, but he wouldn't let me get a word in edgewise, he kept interrupting me. When he got to my stop, he opened the door and said to me, "Are you getting off or not?!" I gave him a look that would kill a dog, and got off the bus. I called the bus line to report this motherfucker, since his reaction was totally unnecessary and unwarranted. If he didn't want me to throw my paper away into his precious trash bag, he could have told me in a nice manner. It was not necessary for him to yell at me. I told the person that I spoke to the whole story, then called back a couple of days to follow up. I was told that the bus driver was spoken to about how to deal with people () and that he was switched to another route. Thank God, because if I saw that guy again, I would not even get on the bus that he was driving, I would wait for the next one. Sorry to hear that this happened to you, Supa. Some people who are bus drivers shouldn't be, especially if they don't know how to handle people. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

OK, the driver had to have known the coins weren't going in because believe you me, they will come down on your ass if you are short a damn penny. I see drivers reach over to the box all the time and put the money in the machine themselves. And why did he not ask the customers that change belonged to to put their change in? Yeah, this was a stupid ass battle and it really didn't matter but I was not in the mood, especially to be yelled at for something the damn driver should have had a handle on. And I even resisted temptation!. My initial reaction was to scoop all the change in their and take it but that would be stealing so my motives from the beginning were honorable! this guy wasn't on top of his game and it shouldn't have been up to me to insure that he was.
