Why do people set their myspace profiles to private???!!!


That is so damn annoying! If your page is set to private, you SUCK!!!!

I have mine set to private because I don't want everyone looking at my page

And also because before I made my profile private, I kept getting creepy messages from people that were looking at it

I used not to but ended up getting sick of 14 year old girls adding me, bands adding me and spammers messaging me, so this morning I set it to private. Never planned to before. Also noticed that all my friends do, and figured it's kinda sensible.

You can block those people without having to set your profile to private. I personally like to see a persons page before I send a request and I want to see their page before I accept. If it's private, then you miss out on friends, which is the whole point of the site


Some people will only approve people that they know. I think that's stupid. why don't you just talk on the phone then? What's the point of a myspace if you don't want to know new people?
