Fast forward to 2007...now he gets booed at every stadium except at home. What changed??? Did America all of the sudden realize he is black...NO. He got FAT on subpar pitching (just like everyone else in this era), so the home runs DO NOT hold as much weight as his predecessors. He can rub people and the media the wrong way and he has always been like that....but I still look back to 2001 when he broke the single season home run record, not only was he loudly cheered in every stadium, every game....he was applauded in the media too.
