I know they mean well, but sometimes they get under my skin.

Just listen to what they have to say. It does not mean you have to do what they want.

They do care for you even though you are a grown adult, you are still their child and they do love you.

I used to feel that way until I found out an hour ago that my mother is in the hospital in Sacramento.

She was rushed by ambulance and it doesn't look good at this moment. I'm on my way up there in a few minutes.

I know what you mean Nancy..I still go through things with my mom. I don't have a dad, but believe you me my mom can carry the weight of both at times..it's not that I don't love her, I do, but cheese and rice what a pain she can be at times, like I don't have the mental capacity to do things on my own, hell I am almost 40 yrs old, it's okay if I make a mistake here and there, or do things differently that what she does, if I could just make her understand that!!
