Today at lunch I decided to take a walk. I wasn't sure what I wanted to eat. On the way back I ran into an old booty call of mine.

A couple of years ago I was messing around with this guy. I met him at a club and we had a really great time dancing. We did the dirty and THEN he mentions that he's in a relationship. Great.

I know that all the messing around that happened after was totally wrong, I believe I'm just about finished paying for that in karma recently. I didn't feel bad because he would call me, I would pick him up and go to my place, we would do the deed and I would drive him back to his mom's house. Now he was living with his boyfriend and he wanted me to visit him there. I refused. I was not going to invade that space. I know, I know, it was still wrong doing it at my place. Eventually my refusal lead to us losing touch.

To this day I don't know what kind of relationship they had/have. We exchanged numbers. He's already left messages with his schedule and all that stuff. I don't think I want to go there although the sex was pretty tasty and it's so very tempting.

Oh honey, upon re-reading your post, I feel like you could use a cyber hug. Look at what you wrote. Why is it so filled with guilt?

If we look even more closely, we see someone who has questions. It all started with lunch! Did you ever get something satisfying? Your question about your relationship with this guy is very similar. Without a "plan" -- you were tempted. Whether it is food or sex, you haven't been clear with yourself about what you want. Instead of beating yourself up about what happened and now questioning whether or not to go back to it, set some boundaries for yourself.

You've had "it" before, so now you don't have to "try it" to see what it would be like. If it is indeed something you want to go back to, let it be on your terms. Say to this guy, "You know, I like you and we had a good time, but in order for me to do it all again, I need to know you are out of your relationship first."

Another point is to own it. It was your decision, what you did in the past. You made it, you did it, now move on. You have the power to say 'no' and contriol your destiny... And just because you own it, doesn't mean you have to feel bad about it, just remember.

Yes, I've owned it and moved on. I don't think I'm going to "go there" unless he's single. He's a great guy but all we have in common is great sex. I don't find myself having any real feelings for him. I know it's the same for him. It was all about fun.

Sounds like the guy would be great for a physical relationship.
Other than that, I wouldn't trust him any further than I could throw him....
