Coming from a fundamentalist Christian family, I always thought sex was dirty, bad, gross, and sinful...so of course, I was curious about sex as a kid. I used to read my aunt's Jackie Collins for "the good parts" and would watch "Porky's" just for the boobs. My dad gave me "the talk" when I was 12, but the problem was, everything he told me--from condoms to sperm to eggs--I already knew thanks to the wisdom and knowledge of the kids on the playground.

Me neither. My mom told me about the monthly cycle, then gave me some books to read. I dunno, back when I was growing up, parents did not seem to be as open to talking about stuff like this as they are now. confused
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

My parents are super awkward about sex, so yeah, they didn't try to talk to me about it and I sure as hell wouldn't go to them lol

No one ever told me a thing, nothing. sexy
I learned it all from the streets and fucking.

No my parents were too busy being, to tell me anything.

Good thing. I'm a good guesser. Hmmm, that's seems about right.

My mom didn't talk with me about anything, the most she ever said was..You know how you get pregnant don't you?.. and I said yes, even though I wasn't totally sure, I figured it out none the less. BUT I have had several discussions with my 15 yr old daughter about everything that you can possibly think of, and yes I have her on BC, and NO as of right now, she is not sexually active, but knowing how teenagers and their hormones are and seeing how she has had this steady boyfriend for almost a year now, I thought better safe than sorry when the occasion does arise..lol. I want her to enjoy being a teenager, and even though I hope and pray that she waits until she is older before making that decision to give her self to some one so completely I want her to be sure she is ready emotionally, physically and every other way possible. Plus I want her to feel like she can talk to me about anything and everything. I definitely don't want her to be afraid and feel like she can't talk to me, that's not good. And she knows by being on BC that that is not permission to go ahead and have sex...
Because of God..we 2 r 1~~Darren & Suzyn forever
