He is an actor.

Known for his roles in The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe and The Last King Of Scotland.

He will play one of the keyroles in the adaptation of Ian McEwan's Atonement, one of my fave books of the last ten years.

I watch too many old movies. shrug

You cheeseball.

I love old movies. Esp when I am insomniacing. They had Witness For The Prosecution on sunday.

Do you mean they make you sleepy? lol
Speaking of oldies, last weekend I watched "Misfits" with Burton and Monroe in one of the most romantic settings ever: an outdoor cinema located in the patio of this beautiful palace:

It was already dark when the movie stared and after 10 minutes rain started pouring down. Fortunately, the guests (a total of maybe 10) were sitted safely under a niche and could enjoy the movie safe and dry.

Soon after thunders begun brightening up the sky and the patio became covered with a glistening sheet of warm, spring rain. The reflections of the aired movie brightened up the floor so beautifully that it gave me chills.

What added to this truly amazing atmosphere was the fact that the movie was played from an original 1960s tape (not remastered) and even had distinctly old subtitles (which seemed handwritten).

Here is a pic (which does not really capture the appeal of that place):

The movie was rather disappointing but being there on that night was worth the the effort.

I guess I really am a sentimental cheeseball lol
I'm not mad at you, I'm mad at the dirt.

Yeah. Yeah.

Can we have your liver, then?
