Personally, I've never been taught a lesson the hard way. I'm the kind of guy who will never get his comeuppance! You hear me? No comeuppance! nod

Life is short and to live today as if it is your last and tell your children that you love them everyday. Settle arguments quickly - in the scheme of things they are unimportant. Keep family close and enjoy your friendships. Don't worry about tomorrow because that will come soon enough with its own problems and forget yesterday because it has come and gone. SMILE.... smile

A lesson I learned the hard way is that I should not put as much trust in people as I do because there will always be someone that will take advantage of it.

I'm fine now. I'm 36. But from that day on I won't have so much as one drink and drive the same day.

That you can't always take on everyones problems, there has to be time for you too.
That reliance on another is not weakness it is commitment
That there are and will be days when the ONLY thing that keeps me going is another and that is not a failing on my part.
That loving someone is not always enough
That friends show their true colours when the shit hits the fan
That many i thought loved me like i loved them didn't

That bitterness is no way to live.

Loving someone is possible after the worst pain and heartache in the world

-I've finally learned to not worry about things that I have no control over.
-Life is 5% what happens to you and 95% your attitude about it.
-As someone said earlier, leaning on another person to help you when you need it is not a weakness. It actually shows that you know when to ask for help.
