Peach6758-after the song (my fav at the time)and prince's birthday April-Michelle-my given 1st name although in real life i'm mostly called Ella TalentedOrphan-because i'm a somewhat talented singer and i have almost no family Tragedy-after I had broke up w/ an old boyfriend he called losing me a "tragedy" and refered 2 losing me as his "great loss" Great Loss just don't got a ring 2 it though  | |

If only the old thread on this weren't locked, I could just cut-and-paste my previous, far-more-eloquent response. But, alas:
threadbare (adj.) -- Showing signs of wear and tear or neglect. As in "gone to pot." (courtesy of Roget's Thesaurus) However, I don't feel I have signs of neglect or anything like that. Much of what we discuss at the Org might show signs of neglect: the music industry, Prince's business practices, the ability to disagree without being petty, etc. Rather, I chose the name because it is on these THREADS at the Org that we BARE our souls and, God willing, our spirits. | |
