There is a book called "Echos of the Soul", by
Echo Bodine. Echo is a "ghost buster" if you will.
She can speak to spirits, that have passed, or about
to.

She explains that after we die, we come back on
another level, until we get closer to God. Each
time we learn from our experiences, getting closer
to God. This is quite something to grasp, and I'm
really not sure if I believe this concept. It is
interesting, because even in our present life,
the one we know for sure we have right
now, we are hopefully growing. If we do grow, that
in itself will put us on another level, so to speak.
