I love Shane Battier.
The old Duke chant back in the day of his college ball-playing..."Who's your daddy? Battier!" So there you go. It was my AIM name first, and became my org name through lack of creativity. Only after I made the name did I realize it's sexual connotations. -------
A census taker once tried to test me. I ate his liver with some fava beans and a nice chianti... "I've just had an apostrophe!" "I think you mean an epiphany..."

Natsume... my middle name. It's Japanese and means jujube fruit. Pronounced Not-sue-may.
I've never thought much of it, used to hate it as a kid - sometimes I think a few orgers love it more than I do! I mean, like, where is the sun?

But they have American names, as does their father (Artie...Arthur)...Jessie, and Emma. But the youngest, has a name derived from something Japanese...It's Tae for short though. -------

Andrew Tokushi Gage Tomomi Corbin Yoshio Natsume, do any of these have a special meaning? Cool names, but fuck if I know! I know about as much Japanese as the next person (insert modesty here) I'm sure somebody here on the org can answer your question, hint hint Ian's wife, but if you're still searching for answers I can ask my dad next time I call him (BTW... I bet they are real cutie-pies!) I mean, like, where is the sun?

The meaning behind my name is simple: I wear glasses so that I can see because without them my eyes are blurred.
...and it's also a reference to a lyric by Dave/Dove/Trugoy from De La Soul. Peace -----------------------------------------------
