I Preffer FIRM YOGURT

I ate some Breyers "Fruit on the Bottom" Yogurt this morning, and it just didn't do it for me.

It was very smooth and creaming, and I barely had to do any mixing to get the fruit mixed into the yogurt itself.

But I just didn't care for it. I preffer firmer yogurt, like Dannon "Fruit on The Bottom" yogurt. You know I'll just refer to it as "FOTB" for Fruit on the Bottom , from this point on.

Anyways, I was chillin with my FOTB yogurt and I realized that texture is very important. I just don't care for Breyers style. It's too... oh what's the word.. slimy feeling.

I looked in a least a half dozen stores now for yogurt like the British have. Their yogurt kicks ass. They have FOTB yogurt, yogurt with hazelnuts in it, and the texture and flavor is perfect.

Seriously, America! Improve your yogurt!

I love how the Yogurt Chemists couldn't figure out how to suspend the fruit evenly in the yogurt, so the Marketing Gurus went, "wait! we'll just market it as though it's a FEATURE! biggrin ". And now we have FOTB yogurt. lol

When I ate dairy, I liked the custard-style kind for texture reasons. I think it was vanilla Yoplait that was the best.

I like Whole Soy peach and vanilla flavors. . . not custard-style, but I like the texture.

You people are high.

But I love the Yoplait WHIPPED yogurt right now, especially the coffee flavor. I know it's like 60% air and 39% sugar, but I don't care. It's delicious and it has good MOUTH FEEL.

I discovered I really like the firmer yogurt as well. Trader Joe's has a positively HEAVENLY yogurt that is like dessert for me. drool

Unfortunately, I pretty much have to stick with the no-fat, low or no-sugar stuff. pout So I don't get the yummy yogurt often.

It's the fat that makes it so yummy, I'm convinced.

I totally agree.
Firm yogurt is the best. And I do eat the no-fat, low sugar stuff, which isn't as good, but you get used to it. shrug

Of course I have other bad habits though. lol
I stepped out of the shower this morning, hair still wet, and lit a cigarette. Then walked to my kitchen and broke out a low fat yogurt, with the cig still in my mouth.
Love

that's a horrible habit. disbelief

you should have taken the yogurt out to your porch and smoked so you wouldn't stink up your home. plus you can yell at neighbors while you eat and smoke. thumbs up!
