Kicking the wine habbit

So 5 years agoish I picked up a regular wine habbit. It became quite the rage here in California at least and even target and walmart abandoned previous policy and jumped into the wine game. Anyyyyywwwwwayyyyy the regularity of it began to really not set well with me and so I droped it. I read Aces stop smoking threads and others who gave up various substances etc and decided it was time to evaluate my path.

Interesting revelations as the weeks have progressed... I am a worker bee again. I forgot I used to be that way... task oriented and goal setting.... The weight I picked up is starting to drop off etc...

Anyone else had similar experiences?

I always consume a lot less alcohol during the football season probably 90% less. This is when I also work out the most and am in peak physical condition. I am what one refers to as a binge drinker. I don't drink unless I am with friends or at a social function, and once I get started I do not stop. During the season I trade one addiction (beer steaks) for another (working out, water)
Carpenters bend wood, fletchers bend arrows, wise men fashion themselves.
