Windows Media Player or iTunes?

Ayedunno. I was happy with my WMP9 until they released WMP10 that I did not like, so I switched back to 9 that has been giving me trouble, prob cuz it aint updated anymore.

I have given in and decided to to switch to iTunes as well, whuch I have tried, but shunned, as it does not support WMP files, uptight bastids.

If I have to switch them to MP3 it will take me a week. But I suppose I will, cuz I am tired of WMP.

Anyways. Is there ONE player that lists your files in one big-ass list, like I like it, without getting slower? I know I gotta lotta MP3's. Is there a player that can handle the amount of files I have?

Oh, ps, why I dislike iTunes a little is cuz besides my own folders containing my MP3's, it also makes a NEW iTunes folder with all the tunes in it ANOTHER time, taking up loadsof space.

What's up with that?

I only use iTunes to buy stuff - and then I only buy stuff which can't be obtained elsewhere... iTunes seems to sap all my PC's memory whilst it's running, disabling me from doing anything else.

I've always used Winamp to play music.

You can set it not to do that and organize them yourself

How? Please point me to the part of OPTIONS that does not allow that.

What I meant is that iTunes puts the MP3's in the Itunes Library TOO, creating TWO places where they store the MP3.

Is that what you meant too?

the library is not where they are stored that is just the interface, if you turn off the auto organize option you can add files from wherever and they stay there just the interface is itunes

WMA sucks. lol Besides, why should Apple invest a license fee to MS for you to use in a free program?

Way back in the day, I used to use WinAMP but that's sooo 1998. :-p
