Who else here takes meds on a daily basis? There r periods of time to where I have to take Prednisone. An anti-inflamitory steroid. And GODDAMNIT...that shit taste SOOOOO fuckin nasty. I try every way i can to not let that stuff dissolve on my tongue but it NEVER works. It dissolves WAY to easy. And then, for hours on end, there's this nasty, bitter/sour/foul taste in my mouth. I friggin hate that shit. Other meds do it too...can't think of their names right now, but some don't do it at all. My xperience is that prednisone is the worst.

Tilt your head back and drop it in your throat with a sports-top bottle of something sweet in one hand; squirt a moutful directly after it lands in your throat.

ick. i think that's what i had to take that last spring when my back popped. drink a ton of water with it. kind of helps.

My younger son says pred is vile we have 2 put it in a glass with a little water 2 take as he finds it a lot easier this way.

No, but I used to take vitamin C tablets as a child and I loved them! They were like sweets! I think that's why they banned them.

Does insulin count? No aftertaste!

Ah, you get used to it. I developed a weird side effect tho: I can't watch other people getting shots. I can't watch my doctor giving me a shot. I have to turn away.

I'm so used to having the control over it, the only thing that makes me queasy is seeing when someone doesn't have the control! Is that odd, or what?
