I have the worst yard in my neighborhood I'm not a lazy man. I work very hard I think. But I hate yard work. And we have one of those yards that attracts weeds very easy and we have pretty crappy grass so if I don't mow the yard for a couple of weeks, it's knee high. When I mow it, there are lizards and toads running everywhere, pissed I am taking their comfortable hiding spots. I know the neighbors scoff and I hate to have "that yard" but I'm just not genetically predisposed for yard work or really anything involving the outdoors.
Anybody else hate yard work? All good things they say never last...

however, there is a yard further down the street that is in so much shade, their entire front lawn, upon closer inspection, turns out not be grass at all, but a lush blanket of moss!

Seriously there were toads the size of my head out there. And it had only been two weeks.
I like to think that, by not mowing my grass, I am helping the planet Earth and supporting a whole ecosystem. [Edited 7/31/07 19:04pm] All good things they say never last...

I'm thinking of hiring a lawn service. Definitely get a lawn service. Smartest money I've ever spent. Don't have to spend a morning pushing our crap mower around the yard, and don't get pissed off anymore about getting nagged to mow the fucking thing. Every 3 weeks a couple guys come with proper equipment and make it look better than I ever could, only takes them 20 minutes.
