Im not real sure why they brought Coughlin back. A bad start will get Shockeys mouth going, and that is all she wrote for the New York football Giants.

Giants weren't going to fire Coughlin with one year left on his contract. They don't work that way. But anything short of the playoffs and he's gone.

I'm not a big fan of Coughlin's, but a lot of the blame goes to injuries & underachieving players. This group of Giants does too much woofing. Last season they fell in love with their own press clippings and kept talking Super Bowl. We saw how that worked out - penalties, missed assignments, inconsistent QB play, dropped balls.

This season Coughlin wants less talk & more results.

They'll be ready to kill him pretty soon. lol His players always hate him. Not like Parcells where they like him in spite of himself, but actually hate.

Heck no!! It is never to early to talk NFL football. Man, if the Saints are able to get to the Super Bowl, that would be a movie waiting to happen! That would be the feel good story of the decade. I hope that they are able to pull it off and get there. Being a Vikings fan, I can deal with it.

Folks describe Coughlin as 'Bill Parcells without a sense of humor'. But this is pro football. You're not supposed to like the coach, just go out there and get it done. I don't want to hear Shockey or Burress calling out Eli on the sidelines if the ball doesn't come their way.

I'll tell you this - if the G-Men get off to a rough start, players will tune Coughlin out, the NY media will have a field day and the sh!t will get ugly.

I liked Dan Reeves; he's very classy and dignified.

Well, the movie would've been last year. It would just be a cool thing for NO now.

First game of the season - my G-Men vs. the hated Cowboys. How sweet is that?

No more Tiki..... sad

That's okay...they still are "America's Favorite Team!"

Whoever penned them with this title should be shot. Over and over.

Chicago will still be at the top of the NFC North, so I see them doing better than 8-8.

hell yeah it's 2 early 2 talk about it..baseball season is still in full swing and more teams and games 2 show highlights from. I love football 2 but it's hard 4 me 2 get hyped about a sport that plays one game a week, but yet i have 2 hear about it every day on ESPN when the superbowl was back in February.
man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81

So many question marks surrounding the Giants - Eli, the running game without Tiki, left tackle, linebacker, secondary - damn.

I don't see one team standing out in the NFC - the top teams are still in the AFC.

Best - Colts, Pats & Chargers

i'm from new york and the only football team we have in the state r the buffalo bills..the giants and jets play in NEW JERSEY..time 2 stop calling them new york!

10 NFL predictions:

1) Patriots win the Superbowl
2) T.O. has an episode
3) Colts vs. Patriots in playoffs
4) Chargers miss playoffs
5) Dolphins (my team) still will suck (they deserve to after dumping Daunte Culpepper for old ass Trent Green)
6) Vince Young will get hurt
7) The Browns will continue to suck
8) The Saints will win their divison
9) Eli Manning will be exposed as a fraud
10)Wrecks Grossman will still suck

Ya know if Charlie had just thrown a block like half a man(or even attempted one), we wouldn't be discussing Lucy's problem. giggle

I am a Dolphins fan, but I really like the way the Pats do thing year in year out. Plus Brady is the best QB of this generation hands down!

An episode of what? Law & Order: SVU? I love that show, but they already had an episode about gay football players. Maybe he could be an internet predator. hmmm

they say Tony Romo got a job replacing Dick Clark on New Year'sEve--now he gets to drop the ball in front of millions of people every year!

He will complain about not getting enough balls thrown his way. Same TO, different year

at least the man knows a winner when he sees it. unlike manny being manny and kurt schilling who needs his ass whooped by barry bonds!

Thats pretty accurate in my opinion. TO will have an episode, but the boys are ready to win the weak NFC. Hopefully the Browns are horrible, because Dallas has their first round pick. Vince will get hurt and prove that you still cant run with reckless anandon in the NFL from the QB position. Regardless is Samual signs, the Pats are loaded. Manning has already been exposed. Not real sure I understand why your Phins chose to take the old road less traveled. Grossman will indeed blow.

Yankees need pitchers being pitchers. Schilling is losing steam in the intelligence department.
