So it's been two weeks without smoking 1 cigarette. The day I choose to stop is the day I went to the airport to pick my father and step-mother. BAD IDEA. My dad is a talker so I thought I was going to go crazy!!!!!

I'm doing okay still but I'm packing on the pounds. It was still a good choice for me. I'm taking it one day at a time. I'm not going to say that I'm never going to smoke again but if I do it's going to be in moderation.

Right now I don't need to.

The only way for me to quit is cold-turkey. I've quit many times for years but I eventually start up again.

Well done!! You can take off the pounds in time but you can't shake lung cancer that easy. So keep motivated and again well done.

I've never smoked in my life so I have no idea what you are going through but I'm sure it is not easy to quit smoking, all the best of luck to you!!!

Just as I start smoking, it turns out my cat cannot stand the smoke, so I stopped again.
