I'm fine with skinny, but I also wear the super slouchy 'boyfriend' cut with my Converese sneaks...makes me look young and rebellious even in my mid (cough cough) 30's

I have a big booty and big thighs (well Im just plain all around fluffy since Im 5'3).I like the skinny jeans that way they dont make my body look HUGE. I like the baggy shirts(big sweatshirts and t-shirts), if they are tight I can stand it, it restricts my movements. I wear what is comfy to me. The problem I always have is to get them to fit through the hips and thighs I have to go a bit bigger and then the waist is waaaaay too huge. They need to make jeans with room in the hips and then small around the waist. There are jeans like that--Apple Bottoms All the hip-hop girls wear them.

Small waist, big booty. With some jeans, the gapping in the back is so huge,I can store snacks back there. I've never tried on Applebottoms,I dont like the apple on the pocket. I usually wear Levi's. I have a pair of Baby Phat boot cut and they are perfect. I hear 7 for all Mankind,Silver Jeans & American Eagle Outfitters jeans solve the gapping problem and contour the waist. Calvin Klein and guess are good too. [Edited 7/26/07 14:30pm] "Nobody makes me bleed my own blood...NOBODY!"

Ken has a record and the adulation of millions and I'M a completely unknown musician!! Actually straight leg jeans look nice on some women. I can't do it myself, maybe if I was onstage, but then they feel a bit, uh, restrictive when I move. Actually tights would be very comfortable, but not tight jeans. [Edited 7/26/07 14:35pm] My Legacy

Bootcut 4 me.
I have a big butt, and I'm only 5'2". Bootcut makes me look taller and slimmer. Skinny jeans make me look like I borrowed the jeans from someone-(the waist gaps). Bootcut's not "out". The thing with jeans is, U wear what looks good on U.... (grammar edit) [Edited 7/26/07 15:55pm] "Love Hurts. Your lies, they cut me. Now your words don't mean a thing. Boot cut.
Slim in the thigh best compliments the line of my body, but more room in the calf down to the ankle feels better (I've got muscular calves) and falls better over my shoe. Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

I usually go for a boot cut or slight flare, with at least 2 inch heels ALWAYS. I could probably pull off a skinny leg pant, but I don't think I could pull off the overall look. Even though I'm not a preppy, I have a non-descript appearance that would make me look like a poser if I tried to dress all hipster (e.g. skinny leg).
I'm far from a fashionista but you heard it here first---bell bottoms are going to be in for fall. Can't wait to rock some bell bottoms! spelling [Edited 7/26/07 19:03pm]

Yeah, high-waisted jeans are coming back in very soon. I'm not sure how I feel about that. You can end up looking like you're wearing Mom Jeans. Boot cut are flattering, but I threw out all my skinny jeans when boot cuts came in, and damn, I wish I hadn't. I can't find a decent pair of skinny jeans that fit me these days. Procrastination is the art of keeping up with yesterday.

I plan on going jeans shopping soon, and I am really dreading it. It takes me WEEKS (I'm not even kidding) to find just one pair of jeans that fit me. I end up crying in the dressing room usually. Oh I know how you feel. But the ones I threw out fit me perfectly all over. The jeans around today are guaranteed to gape, or fall off your ass, and the waist is too big, or they stretch too much, or they are too tight in the wrong places, I just can't wear them. Do jean manufacturers not realise women have HIPS? Procrastination is the art of keeping up with yesterday.

I know there are places online that you can get custom-made jeans made specifically to your measurments, but it's really expensive though.
