What are you lost without?

When you go out, whatmust you have with you?

I MUST have a watch. I like to know what time it is. Usually because I have so much fun or dawdle about, I forget time even exists, and I am late for some other appointment or meeting.

I also have to have my bank card just in case. I feel alot safer if I can get to cash, for an emergency.

I always have my keys, my phone, my wallet and my iPod. Those fill my 4 pockets.

Wallet and keys. Wallet in my right pocket, keys in my left. I always check them whenever I leave the house but also if I get up from a chair etc. I'm almost obsessive compulsive about it.

If I'm walking around the lake I must have keys and my water bottle and that's it.

Anywhere else and always bring at the bare minimum:

keys
cell phone
driver's license
check card
cigarettes
lighter

I also feel weird if I leave the house without my rings on. Which is kinda odd cause I take them off the second I walk in the house, but put them on before I can leave.

Why?
I mean I was going to post, my make up, a mirror, my music etc etc
But I am sure you could do without your Ipod, or do you really need it, everywhere you go?

You don't have to have all those surely. lol

If you could only have one, or two, what would you sacrifice?

No. And I don't always use it. But I generally don't leave the house without it. Sometimes it just sits in my car while I'm doing whatever it is that I'm doing. But I like having it there. Same with the phone. I don't walk around the mall or the gym with them. I was just listing the 4 things that I always take with me when I step foot outside my house.

Ok, I could narrow it down to three things. Wallet, keys, and glasses.

Thanks again.
I might not have expressed myself too well. We are so liberated that make up or things that are totally unnecessary are of the most important to us, without us really realising it.

I know on these reality Shipwrecked programmes they are only allowed one luxury item. Maybe that's another thread entirely, but who cannot live without an ipod, if there are more important things that one could suggest. biggrin

But it's true! The amount if times I've locked myself out because it hasn't even crossed my mind to pick up my keys - but I'd never leave the flat without some ciggies,

Thank you jess, I am sorry I didn't explain myself well enough. See my post below. But we aren't shipwrecked, I just wanted to know what you REALLY would be lost without.

I get what you're saying. But there aren't many things to me as essential as my music collection. That's why I *need* my iPod.

So you would rather leave the house with your ipod and not your keys or wallet? biggrin
