my downfall with the swearing comes when I have to jump in someone's hind quarters when they screw up....everything starts off well enough, but when they start hitting me with a myriad of excuses, thats when I can literally feel my blood pressure hitting the roof.....these grown assed adults giving me excuses my kids wouldn't try.....so the session starts getting tense and I eventually let one or ten swears slip.....and I'll eventually step out of the room because I'm on the precipice of completely losing it and just speaking in tongues.....

U don't know. I LOVE 2 swear.

"This fucking car" or "this bloody shirt" is so much more poetic than "this car" or "this shirt."

More seriously i work a lot on/with slang & swearing in my dialogues (i'm a writer, remember) & i think modern , urban, language is wonderful (though i can use very correct language when necessary & like it too)

This is me too. That's when people know that I've had enough, really that's when I know I've had enough. I never swear around kids, just isn't my thing.

I've tried to cut back on casual swearing because people judge you and think your low class. While I don't necessarily agree, I'm aware and don't need that in the professional world.

We have rules against swearing in the Military....in the Manual of Courts Martial, there is an article under which I can be prosecuted for "Unprofessional Language"....so I feel your pain.....

sad to say, I do. sad
I never really did until I started working at an offshore oil company. My boss was a retired sailor and man did he had a "YUCK MOUTH". His foul language rubbed off on me sad
Say it's just a dream...
U open up ur eyes and come 2 realize
u simply imagined this
So u lean over and give her a kiss
Here on earth, here on earth,
with u it's not so bad
Here on earth, here on earth
eye don't feel so sad
Stay right here

I replace every swear word with "smurf".

La la la la la la,
sing a happy song,
la la la la la la,
Smurf the whole day long.

Next time you're feeling blue,
just let a smile begin.
Happy things will come to you
{Smurfette: So smurf yourself a grin!}

{Gargamel: Oooo I hate smurfs! I'll get you, I'll get all of you if it's the last thing I ever do! He he he he haaa!}

La la la la la la,
now you know the tune,
You'll be smurfing soon!

eek

Sometimes I get too carried away and don't realize I am, like when I'm with friends. I get that from my Dad cause he will say the "F Word" 20 times in a 22 word sentence lol.

But I rarely cuss around my family. Sometimes around my mom but usually only when it calls for it like I get in the car from school and tell her someone was being a bitch lol.

When talking to other people, never. Not even in emails or online. The worst I would say is goddammit.

However, when I'm alone and talking to myself or the TV (I like talking to the TV) then anything goes.

I swear the most when I'm around my peers/friends. Or when I'm frustrated with something.
Some people think I'm kinda cute
But that don't compute when it comes 2 Y-O-U.
