It's 11:29 P.M. In The U.K. And Is It Too Late To... It's 11:29 p.m. in the U.K. and is it too late to make a scrambled egg on toast?
I didn't feel hungry earlier this evening and now I do. My mother instilled a bit of a fear in me of eating before bedtime - but was she correct? Should I just have a bowl of cereal? I want the egg. Should I eat nothing at all? I really want the egg on toast. It's a quandry!

You're not supposed to eat before bedtime. Of course it won't kill you, but don't expect it to digest the greatest. Maybe not going for the egg before bedtime...it's gonna make you Christian Zombie Vampires

Eat the egg and have a beer.
But I guess I'm not the person to take advide from: Right this very moment, I'm eating my dinner leftovers. Mmmmm spaghetti carbonara. And it's 00:50 here. [Edited 7/24/07 15:49pm] I'm not mad at you, I'm mad at the dirt.

Well, it's 1.15 a.m. here in Sweden and I just finished a huge serving of lasagne. I get hungry later and later in the day for some reason. Pretty soon I'm going to have lunch when others have dinner.

It is a sorry state of affairs when a man can't have a egg when he wants one! I don't eat eggs but I wouldn't let the time of day stop me from eating something. Okay, I'd agonise for 2 minutes, then it would be straight down my neck. Job done. Hope you enjoyed your near-midnight snack, Justin. . [Edited 7/25/07 5:24am]

I've got to say that I had my first good night's sleep in about a month last night. It must have been the egg.

Kids usually love that because you eat with your hands, and it's easy to prepare. Just heat up the shells, chop up some vegetables and/or fry some chicken or beef. Then everybody can customize their own tacos.
