here we go again bored How many times is she gonna gonna go through this cycle?

Go to rehab for a few weeks
Get out
Get arrested a few weeks later (DUI and drug possession)
Go to rehab again

Unless her parents and her manager intervene and take some DRASTIC action, she will continue this cycle over and over, only next time she might kill someone,or herself! It's obvious that she doesn't take her problem seriously. For her, rehab is just a joke.

Unfortunately, these poor excuses for human beings won't get the message until they accidentally kill someone.

I agree!! She needs a good ass-kicking! These young celebs are out of control. They don't even care if they get a DUI because they know that their well-paid lawyers will rescue them.Never mind the fact that they might kill somebody someday.

Just watch: Lindsay will simply go back to rehab, then do a plea bargain deal to avoid jail time and in a few weeks, she will leave rehab without truly getting cured.I heard that, during her recent stint in rehab, she was having friends sneak in drugs and other prohibited items rolleyes It's all a joke to her.

Uh, she is an adult. And I would gather they're part of the problem, given that she's been the breadwinner in the family since she was a teenager. She's responsible for her own decisions, but a mom who acts more as your party planner and a dad has just been released from the clink for his own problems stemming from chemical dependency equals a continuance of the cycle. The last thing she needs (like I fucking know her or something) is her parents to intervene.

A peek at the diary of Lindsay Lohan...

'Following a well-documentee vehicular incident in Bel Air, I've now been in the Promises Malibu head wellness spa for over a month, and it's like: can I please come out already?

Is anyone even buying my goddamned contrition, or it just another provociously nuanced performance by me that won't get recognised by the critics? Like my work in Herbie Fully Loaded. Sure, I've had a couple of day passes. where my Swat team of therapists finally got their heads round what I keep telling them is, like the 13th step of the programme. Specifically: if you really love someone, then sometimes you have to unlock your padded gates and them go to a beach party, where they'll totally not use alcohol, and be back in time for inner child therapy and virgin sundowners.

That day was really beneficial because I renewed my healthy friendship with Paris. We've both been through some junk lately, and we're both handling it in such similar, adult ways. A period of incarceration, elective or otherwise, followed by a return to a simplar life. Partying without working. And partying with Jesus, too. That dude is really important to the both of us. It's through him that we both realise we have nothing to be ashamed of. and that our problems are in other people's heads. Whatever thr narcotivcs and traffic police say, I'll swear till my dying day that tree was wandering across the road...'

Well if she can't rely on her own family to help her,she is doomed.I know she's an adult but I still can't see why those closest to her aren't intervening, and making sure this doesn't happen again. This is no joke. She could wind up dead someday,or kill somebody else. She's an alcoholic,coke-sniffing,drunk-driving catastrophe.

I am really having trouble understanding the sympathy for her. She is a grown assed woman who hose to put cocaine in her nose. A grown assed woman who chose to drink and get behind the wheel of a car. A grown assed woman who can't blame anyone for her problems except herself.

shrug Because I understand how addiction can ruin people. I don't have sympathy for her, per se - I don't know her. Just her situation. There's so much addiction within my family, and I've seen some of my friends make terrible decisions (decisions that nearly killed them and others), and I sympathized. That doesn't mean excusing behavior, just trying to understand it. the problem is getting an addict to understand it and take responsibility for it.

I have a family full of addiction as well and it's ruining our family.

When I look at the addiction in my family, I see people who have no hope, who have nothing and don't see a way to get out of that hopelessness.

I look at Lohan and see a spoiled brat who mother or father didn't put their foot in her ass and this is all just a game: she is just partying. Stupid bitches like her infuriate me.

People in my neighborhoo have to get on a waiting list ot get help with their addictions and here she is, able to get help and is still fuckign up. So I stand by not having any sympathy for her.

I dunno where you live but where I live there are tons of young women (and men) that act exactly the same and they are neither rich nor famous.

When I was in my 20s I was wild as well. Not a drug addict but I certainly had a serious drinking problem.

I have to keep saying this; this is not a Hollywood problem and I do not believe it's any worse in that community than it is in your own backyard.

Again, I'm not excusing her behavior, nor the behavior of any other addict. What I'm doing is trying to understand it by approaching it as if it were somebody I knew. Would I try and understand why people do the irresponsible things they do or dismiss them as a stupid bitches? For me, I hope it would be the former. I don't cut anyone a pass because they're a celeb, especially since I don't know them.

I'm not trying to change anyone's opinion (cuz it ain't gonna work and it ain't worth the headache to even try) - just trying to explain why I feel the way I do. And I've done that as best I can, so with that...I'm out!

I know this isn't strictly a "Hollywood problem".All young people with addiction problems need to get help.I just feel that, too often, the rich, young Hollywood brats don't take any of this seriously. They go to "rehab centers" that look like lush vacation resorts, then they have their well-paid lawyers prevent them from serving any jail time. It's hard to feel sympathy for these people.

I don't think it is a Hollywood problem either but money affords people OPTIONS. There aren't many here in Englewood in Chicago.

We treat celebrities different, like they are better than us. We have sympathy for Lindsey Lohan but if the crackhead down the block from you broke in our cars to steal our stereos, would anyone have sympathy for him? I doubt it.
