Ok, I don't want to just belittle this whole thing, as absurd as honestly I think it is, but couldn't you find a female for just the same purpose - a relationship of convenience to get a visa? I bet there's many a fugly heffa in Yahoo chat that'd jump at the chance of getting some Ariel for just a little money down and a whole lot of paperwork. smile

Seriously, Ariel, is this all worth it? There must be other options.

You enjoy deriding my sincerity, finding humour in it and instead taking it for facetiousness, which it probably is. That's hot.

good luck ariel, and i think the key is get drunk, very very drunk, then even if it hurts, you wont remember..

lol

And yes, gay marriages in Canada are less complicated than regular marriages, in terms of visa. Plus you're still available to date girls without the need to explain why you're dating while you're married to another woman.

I'm not serious about converting, but I am considering going back to celibacy. Woman are just too confusing for me. They change minds more often than I change socks. Meaning at least once a week. biggrin

Bank statements, a solid job to go to, a letter from employer, financial sponsor etc.

I'm not just being unsympathetic, Ariel. It's obviously a very difficult visa situation or you wouldn't be considering something so extreme.

What you suggested is not applicable to me. I have no diplomas, so the only way for me to stay in Canada is to marry someone, or study in Canada. Studying in Canada costs fortunes that I do not have. and since I'm a foreigner, I cannot get loans. So it's out of the question for me. Marriage is probably the only way left in my situation.

confuse Your situation baffles me. lol It's not that I don't believe how difficult it is for you here, it's just that our situations are soooo different. Makes me really grateful. I wish I could help.

Tell me, do you work under the table? How do you pay rent? How do you eat? No one has suggested ways to help you?

Yup. all under the table. I stay at my brother's, so rent is free. I help out at his store, and my aunt's store and another moving job that I started, all under the table. No one can live like that. Also, I won't be able to stay much longer if I don't get a visa. And no one will give me a visa unless I have enough points, which I definitely don't since I have no diplomas.
My situation is almost impossible, that's why I'm trying to odd ways.

I hate to belabor the point, but why again can't you qualify for refugee or some other similar status? I can't imagine that all the newcomers from war-torn parts of the world have diplomas or skills that'd set them far above you pointwise.

To be a refugee I need to prove a reason. and I don't have one. Plus, I'm half French, so they can always tell me to go to France if I want to run away from Israel smile
