What exactly do you mean with "personal shopping"? shit paper and arse cream? tampons? Are you an American? I'm trying to cut down on my bare necessities. So in 4 - 6 months I can buy a new guitar. I saw it in the shop afew weeks ago, love at first sight! small circles, big wheels!
I've got a pretty firm grip on the obvious!

If I did, it would be books though. I used to steal books, read them, then sell them to secondhand bookshops. These days I find it hard to concentrate on secondhand stories. I only read these days in order to get to sleep, and that reading I do in Spanish or German. I used to love the classics though as long as they were printed in modern English or German. If you don't have the money 2 buy books there's always borrowing or stealing (never from individuals though) small circles, big wheels!

Maybe you should get rechargeable batteries. Or a boyfriend...wait, that'll cost more money in the end. Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

Movies (in the theatre, DVD, Blu-Ray)
Music Good fresh ingredients to make food at home (though that's not a waste it is expensive,I guess...but it does affect my waist) I've cut back on buying lately as we're saving for a house. I used to buy a lot of books, but I now just head for the lye-berry.

i was gonna say music, but my music buying habits have waned in the past few years and i'm much better at exercising restraint at the wrecka stow.
right now i spend too much on fast food, like coffee shop stuff in the morning and subway or chipotle at lunch. i used to be great at bringing my own lunch, but that habit went down the pooper this year.

Beauty products of every kind. I'm a total product whore.
I wouldn't say it's a waste though. It's necessary for upkeep. "I saw a woman with major Hammer pants on the subway a few weeks ago and totally thought of you." - sextonseven
