When was the last time you got into an argument with someone and why? Did you win?

I'm just not into arguing - specially to a "win" factor

I really dislike arguing and tend to avoid it if possible.

I don't remember the last serious argument I had...

I got into a serious argument with my younger sister about two weeks ago. I don't think that either of us won. We just gave up

I am in a position where I have to argue with customers all the time. I need to always maintain a profesional position though. So probably a day ago "you can hardly blame the tires we sold you when your car is out of alignment" type of thing.

Last monday i had a ruck with my youngest sister when she told me how i was not doing right by my ex....even though she knows fuck all about the situation.

Winning was not the issue but i tore her a new asshole and it ended there. We have not spoken since.

Oh man, I can't remember. I don't get into shouting matches these days.

The last huge argument I had was, June 28th! (pretty sad I remember the exact date) Not sure if I won, but there were many tears and lots of yelling!

I'm not really sure.

Its not about WINNING an argument though....that kind of attitude just makes it worse.

I try not to argue anymore, it was probably my wife, some time last week.

I always win.....

About a month or so back and no, I didn't win. I did a misdeed in someone's eyes, I did as I usually do... I conceded, agreed I did the wrong (because I did, I was wrong) and went into to my yes, Master mode to bring it to an end. I've learned that nothing I could say matters or would matter, not my reasons, explanations, or anything...the only thing that counts and was/is important is that it happen, and it should not have... period.

but that was then, it's in the past and all is well

Now, if someone pisses me off, I say what I have to say, make my point on this is what I take issue with and that's the end of it, I'm done with it...because I HATE!!! to argue and I detest marathon arguments that go on for days and weeks even more. If I'm truly vexed or crossed then I won't argue at all, the Southern Bell comes out... I'm calm and pleasant, like the calm in the eye of hurricane...another approach is demanded.

3 days ago I got into an argument with my bestfriend. He wanted to get his girlfriend's name tattooed on him.
I won!
I reminded him of how he almost did that two yrs ago with a different girl.He remembered how their relationship turned out and then changed his mind
