Oooh suddenly I'm 5 again...my mom used to serve Tang with every meal!!! We were not allowed to drink soda.

I used to drink Tang as a kid in the 70s and just recently bought it again for old times sake, but guess what . . . .IT AIN'T THE SAME !!!  Flavor is tweaked differently now and it ain't my taste buds cuz as much Tang as I drank back then I remember it like it was yesterday we drank that mess mornin, noon and night, made ice cubes and ice pops . . . good ole days | |

my amish grandmother used to get up at the crack of dawn and make HUGE home-cooked breakfasts with pancakes, eggs, sausage, muffins, fruit, you name it. we'd get up and the dining room table would be OVERFLOWING with food. and my mom and i would always giggle when she'd go to all this trouble then serve it all with a big pitcher of TANG.
but it was okay - i love me some tang! it's the official drink of astronauts...and little old amish ladies! | |
