Everyone wants to be with someone they're attracted to. It's a no shit statement. But what's attractive is different to everyone.

I'd take a brunette bookworm with a potbelly and pit hair over whatever Hollywood starlet is the mainstream masturbation fantasy at the moment in a heartbeat. The latter is boring to me, but for some it's the be all end all. C'est la vie. One ain't better than the other anywhere else than in my own mind.

I think all people need to keep in mind that they're ugly. And that they're cute, too. It's all a matter of perception, and no matter how many people think you look good, eventually you're going to run into someone that's not going to work on.

Meanwhile, kindness, compassion, and wisdom are universal. Maybe people should focus on those and consider it a bonus that there's somebody out there that will probably think they're pretty on top of it.
