I'd like to send 'em off to a quilt maker and have a cool little Rock n Roll quilt. Wouldn't that be fun?

A pair of Stewart Weitzman bright plum suede and snakeskin boots I bought in 1984 and wore to see the Purple Rain tour stop at the Rosemont Horizon.
I still have them -- and they still fit. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

Um. . . hmm. I had a GREAT pair of jeans in high school that I kinda wish I had kept. They were my grandfathers from like 10 years prior, nicely broken in, and I wore them for a couple of years and really rocked 'em hard. By the time I was done with them they had embroidery (including 'Lovesexy' in purple) and Sharpie (lyrics) all over 'em, and one knee was torn wide open from falling on the ramp to the dressing room backstage (drama geek), and paint splatters from painting sets, and OMG they fit SO well, super sexy. . .I'm not sure I'll ever have jeans that cool again. oh noes, prince is gonna soo me!!1!

Unfortunately, my grandmother died before she could teahc me her quilting secrets. But I'd still like to learn... Same thing happened to me. I always wanted to learn how to make quilts and sweaters from my grandma. We spent a ton of time together, but the farthest I got was learning her recipes.

I don't believe you. Just post the damn photo. You know you want to. Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it. |

A beige see through dress made of crinkly fabric that I wore in my 20's with nothing underneath. I had long hair to my waist, and used it to cover the "naughty parts".

the navy blue München Sporthochschule jumper that belonged to my mum when she was young. I wore it for about 5 years straight until it fell apart.

While in Paris, I found me a Carhartt trainer top, blue, white seams underneath the arms. I loved it to bits. Literally; I have worn it thin.
It was dark blue, had a shiny finish without getting too glam. All understated nouveau casual chic. Here's a pic of me wearing it, just the top, though.

In high school I had these shoes that I absolutely loved. They were weird looking but my first pretty expensive pair. My best friend called them my "funny Italian shoes".
BUT out of all the articles of clothing, or outfit that I loved was my fitted jeans and hiking boots back in high school. I lived in those. Right now I don't have anything that I absolutely love. Like Carrie, I don't know how I'd pick one single item. Not that my closet is stuffed full of amazing clothes.
My favourite new item, though, would be the suit I bought a couple of weeks ago. And I bought a green jacket a few weeks back which is very nice.

Imago said: An ORANGE shirt! Cost 30 bucks which was a fortune for me back then Hey Amigo, did you notice you have an orange aura as well? Here's what an orange aura means: Orange: uplifting and absorbing. Inspiring. A sign of power. Ability and/or desire to control people. When orange becomes a strong point, it usually contributes to a yellow halo, which then becomes gold, indicating not only a spiritual teacher, but a powerful spiritual teacher, someone capable of demonstrating his/her unique abilities. Orange thought is a thought about exercising power or a desire to control people.
