I have a Zoo York cap that I wear quite often, now that my old Kangol cap has gotten a bit worn.

Becuase it had alot of scentimental value. My best friend bought it for me at the Ron Jon Surf Shop in Cocoa beach before we made our way down I-95 to Miami, then Key West.

It just reminds me of how the 5 of us went down there and just had the time of our friggen lives. Really, a great time.

The quality of the cap itself sucked ass. But that's not why I like it or dislike it. It just reminded me of some great times. My best 3 years ever.

Same here. redface hug I really want to, in some ways - I think caps would suit me - but it's that initial self-consciousness that prevents me. Anything that has a means of drawing attention... it weirds me out, a bit. boxed If I lived elsewhere, and nobody knew me, I'd probably be dressing in the most freakiest shit. lol

I worry far too much about these things. confused

Nope.

You should go for the somewhat more stylish things.

You would get away with this;

eek You think??

Well, I'd like to think I could get away with it but I'd have to be comfortable with it myself, first. No point putting a hat on if all you're gonna do is skulk around and pull it down over your eyes. lol I would be even more self-conscious wearing that. But thanks, H. mr.green hug

Firstly, I love you. lol hug I really do. nod Secondly - re: bold part - therein lies the problem. confused disbelief But glad somebody sees straight through that (as I know you would). hug Thanks, H.

I have actually bought a cap very similar to that. nod But I've never had the guts to wear it out in public. I would feel like I was wearing a sign with a huge flashing neon arrow on it. redface lol

Aww. I also had one very shabby cap, which I won at a fair when I was 13. It was the first thing I ever won. It reminded me of all the fun stuff that happened in my teens. I wore it till I was 19, when my long time friend finally admitted that I look in it "like a cucumber or a dorky penis".

I lost it three weeks later in London.
