Feeling A Bit Low Again I've had another bad week. I just can't snap out of feeling terrible.
I'm genuinely scared of the future.

I never feel too good on Sunday nights.
I haven't seen anybody I know since Friday. I tried to get out today and yesterday but everybody is busy with their own lives.

Look at it as a phase , accept it....don´t necessarily embrace it but don´t start feeling guilty or bad because of this....and try to get some sunshine...the sun can work miracles on your soul, whether your alone or not. Exercise a bit...and even if you don´t do any of this, don´t feel too bad about it...let yourself go a bit but remember to get up on your feet again. and orgnote me if you want typo edit [Edited 7/15/07 19:38pm] " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"

exactly the time to visit some orphans, or senior citizens in the hospital as bad as you have it, there's always someone off worse than you.

Great advice. Making someone else happy will always make you happy, too!

Love you too! I'm going to a friend's on Saturday for a barbecue. I feel okay now. I wrote a song tonight and that sort of kept me occupied for a bit. Saw my therapist yesterday. I feel better.

You're never alone, Justin - I hope you realise that. A lot of us here care about you. When you disappear for a while, I always wonder what you're getting up to. Seriously.
I hope you're feeling a bit better today; just take one step at a time. Take care, you.

Um... What did you think? Was it lame? oh, sorry, i got hit with lots of orgnotes. a lot of people REALLY missed me, apparently. actually, i like it alot. it is somewhat similar to one of my longtime dream projects, a tv show i want to write where i take elements of my real life, create a character loosely based on me, and go the inner-show-reality-reflected-in-movie-parody route with it. it would end up being primarily about the character refusing to live in reality, living instead in movies (something i do) the structure of yours is damn clever though, and is something i don't think has ever been done before. it certainly sets itself up as something that could be mined for a lot of comedy, and could easily be something almost woody allen-esque... you dont mind if i steal it and run with it? Of course I wouldn't mind!!! I'd love it if somebody made use of the idea. I just like the whole concept of a real audience having a faux audience staring back at them through the fourth wall. Having the actual "movies" the faux audience is "watching" being suggested by dialogue and sound effects (rather than shown) would allow for a lot of in-jokes without fear of litigation too. I mean if the entire "faux audience" suddenly shouted "NO WIRE HANGERS" in unison, you'd know straight away which movie they were supposedly "watching". You could then have the characters merrily discussing Faye Dunaway's plastic surgery making her look like a more butch version of Pete Burns (or something) without having to name her. It'd generate another facet of enjoyment for the audience too, when the penny drops as to which movie they're "watching".

I feel a bit low too to be honest and I cant put my finger on it. I guess is coming back from my travels really. I feel I need to be constantly doing things and if I dont I feel guilty and down. Ive managed to get a new job today which is a start but there's a few things I need to achieve to feel right as rain again. There's Joy In Expatriation.

JD, I haven't travelled as extensively as you - nowhere near - but a lot of my close mates have and I think virtually every one of them has gone through what you are experiencing. Not to downplay what you are feeling but, in some ways, I think it's almost to be expected. You've just had an amazing, life-changing, adventure. My mates came home, went through the initial excitement of meeting up with friends and family again, telling all their travel stories, catching up, re-acquainting themselves with everything they missed about home and then... it's, like, now what? The dust settles and you start looking for things to occupy your time with. I hope you're feeling more cheerful soon. Try not to let it get you down. Before you know it - like all my mates - you'll be getting itchy feet again and off on your next adventure.
