I think I use the unscented also. I used to have REALLY sensitive skin when I was young but I think I've outgrown a lot of my skin allergies. My mother could only buy certain products or I'd break out with bumps all over my skin.

Choice of laundry detergents is an easy way to do something positive for the environment. Educate yourselves here:

In brief:

- buy phosphate-free detergents
- avoid using chlorine, or chlorine-bleached, products
- buy concentrated detergent; less packaging, less wasted water, less petrol used in transport

I don't care what detergent you use...even the cheap ones. If you rinse your clothes in Suavitel afterwards, they smell like heaven. I never heard of it in South Carolina, but when I moved to Chicago in '94, I started shopping at several Hispanic stores, and one of my friends told me to try it. Been hooked since.

It is wonderful. And my teenaged son will not wear anything that hasn't been rinsed in it. He will re-rinse everything. He uses the liquid softener AND the drier sheets.

I usually can't find the drier sheets in the Suavitel brand so I just end up buying bounce
