Yesterday I was joking with the DHL guy that comes to my work - I was asking him if he would take my FED EX too so I would not have to drive it to the drop off center- He said "Val - for a girl as fine as you -I would deliver your FED EX anywhere you need to to go baby.."



He is always being silly with me

Our college-age intern told me today she loved my shoes. That pretty much made my day.

Since I can't remember exactly when I gave a compliment last time, I'll mention two recent things that happened to me yesterday, both kinda weird though:

I work in a store and one of my best friends went to the store to pick up his drivers license that he had forgot at my place. My co-workers (who are mostly female by the way) had heard about him since I told them about a holiday trip I went on with him and his ex-girlfriend recently. Anywho, after he left two of my female co-workers started talking about how ugly my friend is and that he looks like a junkie or something. Since my friend is quite the ladies man I was kinda shocked about hearing that. They also said I was several levels above my friend on the cuteness scale. I guess that was a compliment, it was just in a really weird context.

Later that day the store manager, who is one of the girls (she is 25) that made the comments earlier, noticed I had a "blonde moment" but luckily she didn't take it too seriously and said something that is probably more a joke than a compliment: "Hey, at least you can take comfort in the fact that you're cute"
