A minor controversy is erupting over a 180ft long paint outline of Homer Simpson brandishing a doughnut in a British grass field. The drawing has been painted alongside the Cerne Abbas giant, a 180 foot long, 17th century Pagan chalk outline fertility symbol. The naked, sexually aroused, club-wielding giant is carved in the hillside above Cerne Abbas in Dorset, and for over three centuries has said to be an aid to fertility. This rather large display of advertising is not sitting well though with the locals who call it highly "disrespectful" and "aesthetically displeasing" according to The Sun.
