I met a ghost in 1978. When I was in the 3rd grade. His name was lance. I was in line with with the other kids like normal. We were all facing forward and the kid lance was facing backward, towards me. He had a bright light around him. The sun was coming up too. It all merged. No one else could see him. He was talking and appearing only to me. He told me he was dead and that his family and he, had all died on a local known dangerous highway back in the 60's. And that he had attended the school years before. I asked him. I was like You're dead?! And he answered very clear and normal. He said, Yes I'm dead. I said oh. Calm and stunned. I asked him if he was with his family He said sometimes. I asked him, why appeared to me. He said calmly. You seemed like a nice guy. There was a seance held in the gym over the weekend and he had been there and was still around. I was like they had a seance at my elementary school. In the lunchroom/gym. I was 8 at the time. I asked if he was happy? He said again real calm. Yes, I'm happy. I then asked him. Are you in heaven? He said yes. I said What is it like? He began to talk real sincere and open. But I saw his lips move but no sound was coming out. He seemed unaware of his voice not making any sound. I could not hear him,. And slowly faded away while still talking. I felt this strong feeling. He was saying too much and that someone or something override him. To keep the answer unknown. For unknown reason. I was stunned and at the same time comforted. He did say for sure there was an afterlife. But what's it like left unanswered and unspoken. I never saw him again or had a similar experience. But I never forgot the occurrence. And half always wonder the meaning or reason it happened. When it did. It was all a little to casual and calm to forget. The mystery remains.

I would probably go into cardiac arrest.

They say that spirits don't reveal themselves to people who can't handle such a thing. So I'm pretty much out of the running.

i would ask for it's wisdom for the future. I would also ask it if the man i'm with now would end up being my husband, how many kids will I have, and will I ever move from my hometown.

My Mom passed away 10 years ago, when I was 31. I always felt I was cheated by having my Mom taken away in her prime. She was my dearest friend and confidant.
I often "talk" to my Mom in my thoughts, and sometimes I feel a very strong sense of her listening to me, and trying to communicate with me. I live in her house, it is the house I grew up in. So, there is a very deep sense of her spirit there. Sometimes I feel her answering my questions, if I sit still and "talk" to my Mom....I will "feel" her answer. It is not creepy or scary. It is my way of keeping my Mom close.

There is nothing to be afraid of. To me they are just as normal as human beings. I know my spirit guides. They don't actually 'talk' but their way of communication is thought transfer. Everyone is surrounded by spirits all the time. To most of the people this sounds scary but it's a blessing. They are with u to guide u and help u.

I've had some contact...sometimes I'm completely nonchalant and just carry on as normal if I feel easy enough with it. Some spirits have a very comforting presence. But then if I feel intimidated, I pretty much just carry a very authoritative attitude, and tell the spirit in question thatI have nonthing for them, nothing to offer. Sometimes in a very formal tone, sometimes in a nonchalant, 'Ummm, You better G'won with this mess. You're reaching out to the wrong person, and I got stuff to DO ' But usually in the former tone rather than the latter, because all spirits want is our respect, and attention (because they have unresolved issues here in this realm). So if you can't help them with the attention they seek, at least give them respect. It can get a little hairy sometimes, but with bravery and complete sincerity it dosen't have to be a completely traumatizing experience
