I killed my grandma's fish
I told someone i want to go home with them so i don't have to wear my mom's ripped underwear(marks and spencer brand panties was anything but that though!)
I beat up my cousin cause we were both competing for attention from her older sister who was the coolest

thank god I was behaving myself since I turned 5 lol

My coworker just had a baby and for 9 months everyone that she encountered had to tell her a story about being pregnant and having a baby.

Yeah, I thought about that too..if the people who didn't feel much the first time might be worried about the next one. That's really nice that your delivery was easy, I'm going to pray and pray for the exact thing to happen to me. The birth thing seems to be one of my fears...tearing and stuff. omfg ill

that's completely normal, the need to debrief, over and over and over lol

that is why they invented (new) mother's groups, so they leave the general population alone!

I was shocked hearing the stories they were telling this first time mom. It was freaking me out and I wasn't even the pregnant one.
Some of them were way too graphic and horrible I thought.

Well I think all women are well aware that it can be traumatic. My co-worker is a nurse so I think she would have been prepared without the stories.
Some of the stories were of death and abnormalities. I do not think telling a pregnant women a bunch of scary negative stuff is necessary.
I am just happy mom and baby are happy and healthy.

I hope ppl do not feel the need to do that to me.

it's weird though, cause I have found it usually to be the opposite. That mums are part of a club who "know" and they don't tell the mum-to-be, because they don't want to scare them, and then they have their baby and are mad at their friends for not telling them how bad it is!
Nobody prepared me sad

I guess because I work in the medical field I hear all sorts of horror stories.
so many that it has been a very small part of why I have yet to have any. Some of those damn stories were horrible.
I guess it is not too bad considering you have 3 beautiful healthy children.
