Thursday-(Because my weekend starts when my bf comes over. That's our special time... biggrin ) Spent a little time with the boyfriend. Went to his job @ O'Hare to get hs check, enjoyed the typical crazy life in Chicago, had a deep dish (that did not agree with my stomach one friggin bit!!)..We napped in the living room, watched TV.

Thursday (nite)- It uh....whoo....I can't repeat what happened that night, or what happened early the next morning... razz

Friday- My Squishface came over and we went out for good old fashioned burgers and shakes.

Saturday- He came over, played Tomb Raider 10th anniversary. We laughed, ate turtle pie, and more than likely made my dad put a pillow over his head while we hooted like moronic owls a floor below.

Sunday-I have this day to myself. ^^ I usually wash my hair, clean house, and indulge in VH1 shows.

Friday I walked around the lake and went to see Harry Potter. Yesterday I went to my family reunion and found a tiny kitty behind a barn and played with it all afternoon.

Today I'll be walking around the lake and working from home.

lol

Potter is a guilty pleasure. I'm quite looking forward to the last book next weekend too. redface

As for the rest, my family reunion is always sort of a mixed blessing. I love my aunts, they are all really good people. But I've never really felt like I fit in with my family. I tried yesterday, I really did, but spent most of the beginning of the day sitting by myself, talking to no one. My sister-in-law found the kitty and I suddenly had something to do with the afternoon, so I took my opportunity to enjoy myself. She was sooooo cute. Tiny, with blue eyes and all white except for a black spot over one eye and a black spot on her back near her tail. mushy My uncle who was hosting said there are 2 of them that turned up under his barn and doesn't know where the mother is so he's been feeding them.

Let's see, Saturday?
I did about 47,000 loads of laundry (I really don't think I even owned half of that stuff), scrubbed the toilets and the floors, cleaned the windows, put out the trash, put up with my son and the neighbor's kid constantly bickering over toys and how many times they got to win the billion races they ran against each other- This naturally ended up with me bandaging skinned knees because they were running too damned fast and fell over and over again. Then I spilled bleach on a pair of shorts and ruined them, so they were cut up and the rags were used to clean my car.

Then I attempted to go furniture shopping with my son, which turned out to be a pain in the ass because he was cranky from missing his nap. So I came home and guess who was waiting outside for us? The neighbor's kid (that boy has got to make more friends). So I acted as referee for more of their foolishness for about another hour and a half.
Later, my son and I watched Star Wars; The Empire Strikes Back and he fell asleep, thank God. Then I had about 3 beers while reading Redirecting Children's Behavior. Pretty exciting stuff huh?

Didn't do anything too exiciting...

Friday night I had to work late, the museum where I work was having a special thing where there was a DJ (who sucked!), dancing, cash bar, etc. Had to put up with a lot of wannabe art snobs who thought they should be "on the list" and threw attitude when they couldn't get in for free. talk to the hand

Yesterday I went to see an apartment that I'm probably going to end up moving to. Long story short, my building is being demolished, so the landlord is hopefully going to hook me up with this apt. It's much nicer than the place I have now, but the bedroom, bathroom & kitchen are TINY; I am going to have to sell some of my furniture I think. sigh But it's about half a block from Central Park West excited in a very nice neighborhood and I will probably get a good chunk of $$$ for relocation, too. :crosses fingers:

Then my friend and I went to Central Park and watched the roller skaters/roller dancers all afternoon. She just bought rollerblades and doesn't know how to skate so she wanted to observe. I have skates & blades but I just love watching the roller-dancers. It's my favorite thing to do in Central Park...and yesterday the DJ played Erotic City! biggrin

Slept in today, haven't done much of anything. Just perusing here & HQ to see if there's any reviews from last night's gig in the Hamptons confused and what the sentiment is about the PE/Mail on Sunday give-away. Think I'm going to go out and run a few errands and then I need to finish one book I'm reading and start on another for my bookclub.

Friday-was awful!! Was suppose to have one on one time with my sweetie, but he decided to think to much, and was having a melt down, so I spent my Friday night with a bottle of wine! Then was woke up by my ex's gf(if you can call here that) texting me, saying things like 'He is mine now'...all I can say.."Good you can keep him"!!! lol

Saturday-wasn't much more fun, cleaned some house, went bday shopping for my daughter, talked to my sweetie, only to learn he was going to ditch me again to go out with some friends. Took some sleeping pills and hit the hay.

Sunday-woke up, cleaned some tripe for a huge pot of menudo, made chocolate chip cookies, and now waiting to cook bday supper for my Daughter's 20 bday party. Menu...Menudo, Tacos, Grilled Pork Chops, Fideo, Beans, Tortillas. biggrin Trying to cure my boredom by hanging out on the Org. lol
