I have been to Moulin Rouge and Folies Bergere, and a few in Vegas.....they are fun....and can be exquisitely beautiful in an overdone and artificial sort of way...

I even loved the space they did it in. They was a bow-tied waiter and we drank cheap-ish wine and it really felt like we were transported to another time or era. The hostess only did one topless number and she told us afterwards that her parents were coming the next night to see her perform and polled the audience it we thought she should leave the topless bit out since they'd be there.  |
