I much prefer British humour. Any episode of Monty Python completely out-classes any episode of Friends or Seinfeld.
I do like some American stuff, especially South Park (which is brilliant) and I saw a doco where Matt and Trey say they were heavily influenced by Monty Python, so I can only conclude that any American comedy that I like is the stuff that is reminiscent of the British style.

cool

i MUCH prefer british humor to american in general.

i am anxiously awaiting "clatterford: season 1" or "jam & jeruselum: series 1" as it is called over there, to arrive from netflix. apparently it has jennifer saunders, dawn french, AND joanna lumley in it.
