I like it better because it's unflinching. I think Brits like to see situations in which people fail at something, and then expose it slowly and painfully.
Plus it's dryer--and I like that. But I'm American, so all I can offer are crude fart jokes.

Humor in GENERAL is pretty bad. I have a very unique and personal style of humor, such as laughing at things in movies like certain faces people pull, or the way they say something. Most of the time it's not even intentional. I'm lucky to have a friend who shares this kind of humor. LOL it sure is. I grew up watching Monty Python and shows like Mr. Bean. I seriously said "this bird is no more" at the very inappropriate time of my gramma's parrot's death. I was about 6.

My son was born on St George's Day," commented the Englishman. "So we obviously decided to call him George." "That's a real coincidence," remarked the Scot. "My son was born on St Andrew's Day, so obviously we decided to call him Andrew." "That's incredible, what a coincidence," said the Irishman. "Exactly the same thing happened with my son Pancake."

I guess I can agree. But I love some ignorant stoopid American humor.
My favorite is Richard Pryor and Chappelle. Chappelle is sfunny as hell and very clever...like I think with his comedy there is an underlying political element. Where as what I see in Brit is the opposite. Not a matter of taste..they are what they are. Did't we have this convo a few months ago?
