Have you ever stayed home from work, shool, or a social event because you felt you were gonna have a bad daY?

Yep, I am guilty of this. I get lots of sick leave, every year and rarely use it cause I don't get sick a lot. The thing is I usually call off about 3 to 4 times a year cause I feel burnout. As far as social situations go, I will not go to a bar b q or some kinda function like that cause I woke up feeling irritated and know I will see an annoying aquaintance or family member there. As far as school goes, I never ditched a day of class until my senior year of high school and in college cause I did not feel like waking up for a 7 o clock class. What about you.

I really like spicy food. I mostly put Jalapenos on a lot of my food.

I used to always stay home the day I felt I was getting sick. Usually staying in bed and keeping warm that day would prevent me from actually getting any worse. The only thing is people didn't really believe it.

When my engagement broke up, there were a couple of days when I felt like I just couldn't cope. I teach high school, and I didn't feel like I could deal with kids those days... sad

Well all need down time and time to recharge.
I think we all have times when we are not in the mood for a social situation and we need to sit one out.
At least I do from time to time.

I was thinking about this very thing today, I always go into work anyway when I have those days because the day may change and it usually does. Granted there are sometimes when things don't change and my whole day turns out to be a complete clusterfuck. , that I Now I will not go to a family function or a get together when I feel like I'm going to have a bad day because they almost always make my mood or day worse if I go.

I used to skive off work when I was working at a garden centre. This was solely on the principle that all the staff were a bunch of cunts.
