I wonder what is the best lotion or wax that can keep hair away for a really long time? I think I have used Nairs for a long time for my legs and now sometimes the leg hair wont grow back for a long time.

The salon did my eyebrow wax, and I had really good eyebrows for a couple of weeks. I think I'll stick to Nairs and shaving. I can't imagine the pain that people go through with waxing their legs.

Now see, Veet is what I use here in the EU and I never have a problem. The ones here they always include an 'after cream' for your skin though so maybe that's what keeps me from being irritated. When I'm at home in the States, I always pick up some Nair, but I hve to admit, for me that s**t is STRONG....it will HURT you if you're not careful. I wanna try the one you're using with aloe, though...

Me too - it is the money issue. I colour my own hair as well because of the money. I am not sure how comfortable I would be with having a stranger wax me all of the places that I shave either.
Though the thought of not having the daily chore of shaving would be nice.

So true! I used to work with some waxers and they deal with so many different body parts that they are very business like about it. The only time I ever heard them talking about a client was when she wasn't very fresh - if you know what I mean.

Lots of Venus users (myself included).....but I think I'm gonna try razors for men next. When I was a little younger, but obviously growing hair on my body, I had a fear of razors. I thought I was gonna cut myself.....and I actually cut the back of my ankle the first time I shaved. Now, I actually kinda like shaving.....and using nice smelling shave gels.


The Satin Care in Radiant Apricot is the best smelling one,imo. There was one called Oceania by Satin Care too that I used to buy regularly, but I never see it in stores anymore. I just feel good when I'm nice and smooth all over.
